Every week (over an 8 week term) we meet after school on a Tuesday at Strange Bird Studio.
This is a gentle, playful, slightly sparkly kind of session — where kids can explore, create, and be wonderfully themselves without worrying about getting it “right.”
Shoes kicked off.
Music playing.
Snacks on the table.
Paint, paper, beads, and bits everywhere.
Each week we’ll explore a fun, hands-on creative activity, tailored to the group and their interests. Think:
Painting and drawing
Jewellery and bracelet making
Birthday cards and tiny treasures
Bag charms and wearable creations
Stamp making and printing
Paper flowers and playful crafts
We’ll also sprinkle in games, music, and group moments — keeping things light, social, and full of joy.
And sometimes? We’ll follow their lead entirely.
A 1 hr 15 min after-school session

A take-home creation every week
At the end of each 8-week term, we host a little exhibition for family and friends. The kids choose their favourite pieces, we pop them up on display, and everyone gets to wander, look, and celebrate what they’ve made. It’s low-key, a little bit special, and a really lovely moment of “look what I did.”
